Announcement 5/19/2026 – Dumpsters are available for Pleasant Township residents to use May 19-May 25. No paint, chemicals, hazardous materials, concrete, dirt, rock, mattresses or box springs. Do not overfill dumpsters as they cannot be picked up with anything sticking out of the top. Please observe all rules so this service can continue to be offered on a regular basis.
Announcement 4/6/2026 – Road closure on Butler Road from 150th to Rose Hill Road as the road is widened to four lanes. Detour via Prairie Creek Road. Single lane traffic is expected to resume on Butler Road this summer, and all work is expected to be completed early 2027.
Announcement 2/17/2026 – Mulch is available at the Township shop for Township residents’ use.
Pleasant Township Green Waste Site
The site will be open on Monday – Wednesday from 8am to 3pm and all day Thursday – Sunday (excluding holidays).

This is only for residents of Pleasant Township ONLY and may be closed at any time due to weather, misuse of the site or other reasons.
Allowed items to be dumped:
Trees, Flowers and Garden Trimmings
Materials NOT Allowed:
Grass Clippings, Leaves, Building Materials of any kind, Hazardous Waste, Rocks, Bricks, Plastic Bags, Garbage, Household Trash, Process Wood Products and Tires
NO COMMERCIAL DUMPING!!
THIS IS A PRIVILEGE NOT A RIGHT
If abused, the board has every right to discontinue this at any time.
